{"id":9927,"date":"2020-06-10T10:36:47","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T10:36:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/bestingc\/?p=9927"},"modified":"2020-06-10T10:36:47","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T10:36:47","slug":"sodecan-launches-new-credit-facilities-for-innovative-smes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bestingrancanaria.com\/en\/sodecan-launches-new-credit-facilities-for-innovative-smes\/","title":{"rendered":"Sodecan launches new credit facilities for innovative SMEs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sodecan.es\/\"><span style=\"color: #005aa1;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Canary Islands Economic Development Company (Sodecan)<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">\u00a0announced the new credit facilities for SMEs under the \u2018Canarias Financia 1\u2019 Fund to promote creation and development of innovative SMEs in the Canary Islands today.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The fund has a budget of \u20ac2.5 million for financing of projects during 2020, with private investors expected to contribute an amount equivalent to 20% of the total contribution by the ERDF.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">The main features of the equity loans announced today are as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><b>1. Credit line for creation of innovative micro-businesses and SMEs <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Beneficiaries: micro-businesses or SMEs with their registered office or permanent base in the Canary Islands.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Amount: Between \u20ac25,000 and \u20ac200,000 per project, with a maximum of 85% of the total eligible expenses of the project. The promoter must contribute the remaining 15% as a minimum from its own funds.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Maximum grace period: 5 years<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Maximum term of the loan: 10 years<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">No commissions.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Interest rate:<\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Fixed portion: 1-year Euribor + 3.35% (maximum rate 1-year Euribor + 8%)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\">Variable portion depending on the evolution of the company activity.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif;\"><b>2.
