Atos inaugurates its new headquarters in Gran Canaria with 200 employees

The leader in digital transformation, Atos, celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Canary Islands today with the inauguration of a new headquarters located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. With this new office, Atos reaffirms its commitment to the Canary Islands as a global benchmark in innovation and technology. The event included the participation of the President of the Gran Canaria Council, Antonio Morales, along with senior company executives, such as Carlos Von Prabucki, General Director of Atos Spain, and José Manuel Rodríguez Macías, Director of Atos Canarias.

The new headquarters in Gran Canaria, designed with high standards for well-being and technology, opens with over 200 professionals and plans to double its capacity in the future. Strategically located near key points in the city with easy accessibility, this new office aligns with Atos' growth and commitment to developing the archipelago as a hub of technological innovation.

The center will operate as a Global Delivery Center (GDC), providing digital services to more than 20 countries, establishing Gran Canaria as an essential point within the company's global structure. From this GDC, Atos will offer advanced digital transformation services to public and private entities worldwide, in addition to collaborating with companies and public sector organizations on the islands.

Atos also maintains strong ties with universities and vocational training centers in the Canary Islands, fostering the development of local talent. The new headquarters will provide job opportunities for both young and experienced professionals, contributing to regional economic growth and supporting the development of a technology-focused knowledge base in the islands.

Over the past 25 years, Atos has led key projects in the Canary Islands, such as the User Support Center of Excellence (CEAU), which today operates as another Canary Islands-based company, Atos GDC Canarias, SAU, a global service center specialized in digital workplace support. It has also collaborated with international institutions, including the International Olympic Committee and companies such as Airbus.
